John Travolta has signed up for a lead role in Luc Besson’s forthcoming action thriller From Paris With Love.

Screenplay by Besson and Adi Hasak concerns a young embassy worker and an American secret agent who cross paths while working on a high-risk mission in Paris.

Besson’s company has been gathering pace, taking on movies such as Jason Statham’s Transporter series and Liam Neeson’s recent revenge thriller Taken.
